LJ Beauvois Carpentry and Joinery Ltd ("we") is a carpentry and joinery business based in Cranleigh, Surrey. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, which cookies the site uses, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the service you are asking about and your message. We use these to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Book a Free Consultation: the booking form is provided by Tradify and the details you enter there are handled under Tradify's own privacy terms as well as ours.
- Google reviews: the reviews shown on this site are public reviews fetched from Google. We do not collect anything from you to display them.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies for its own features. One optional cookie is used by Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us whether an advert led to a phone call or an enquiry. It is off by default and only set if you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner will ask you again.

Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: Resend, which delivers our emails, Vercel, which hosts this website, and Tradify, which handles bookings, quotes and invoices.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we do not take further are deleted within 12 months. Records for work we carry out are kept for 6 years after the job, as required for tax and guarantee purposes, then securely deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- withdraw consent where we rely on it
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
